Support Information

  • We will have a rider meeting at 8:00 pm Friday evening to answer questions.
  • Packet pickup: Friday 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm, Saturday 6:30 am to 10:00 am.
  • Average temperatures: Daytime - 70s, Nights - 50s. Rain is always a possibility.

Pets are not allowed

  • If you have a pet, boarding is available at several veterinary facilities located in Live Oak and Madison.

Good Things

  • For the first time ever, there will be a jersey available.
  • Safari staff will be available to provide assistance throughout the event.
  • Your ride packet will include information about the surrounding area.
  • All camping equipment and luggage will be transported for six-day riders. Limit 2 bags.
  • There will be two, 100-mile, century rides offered.
  • Parking will be provided free of charge at Live Oak. Sufficient parking is not available at Cherry Lake.

Riding Rules

  • Use of an approved helmet is required any time on the bike.
  • Headphones are prohibited while riding.
  • Plan to average at least 10 miles per hour or leave campsite early enough to finish riding by 4:00 pm.
  • Riders taking unscheduled side trips will be on their own.
