"I honestly have no suggestions for how to make the Safari any better. Tom and I were talking about it, and things seemed to run so smoothly and effortlessly this year. They always run well, but both of us noted that there did not seem to be any "drama" in this year’s ride. The lines did not seem as long, and things just seemed to run so well. Of course I have been involved in the running of enough events to know that there are always things that go sideways, but it just seemed like a much calmer Safari. SO, to you and the myriad of volunteers, Well Done!"

"Okay, I was hoping for an opportunity to respond to the recent Safari. I’ve done four Safari rides, staring in 1983 with the "Sentinel Safari and the last time was in the late Nineties." I’ve done BRAG seven times, BRAT four times, Bike Virginia twice, Bike North Carolina and crossed the country. I’ve racked up 27 states on my quest to ride across all of them.
I say all of that to tell you that this year’s ride tops ALL of them! I have given considerable thought to what you can do better, and I can’t think of a single thing! The food was the best I have had at any ride ever! The facilities were terrific, the rides well planned and delightful. You even got the weather to cooperate!
So, thanks for a terrific experience, one that I will remember and pass on as I ride PALM (Michigan) and Bon Tour Roulet (New York) and have started to put together a team of riders to do the Safari next year!"

"Thanks to you and your volunteers for an awesome week. My only comments to improve are:
Rest stops need to have shade – especially on the long rides. Ask a local if you can use their yard or change the route. A rest stop gives no rest if you can’t relax in the shade for a bit.
Communication could be improved. We couldn’t hear what was you or the police officer said at the Friday night meeting. In addition to oral communication, info needs to be put in writing – people will not remember tomorrow what is said today. Put all the info in the package you give us at registration. Important and additional info on can be put on the white board at the dining hall.
Other than that we had an awesome week. My only other complaint is that I have some extra pounds to lose."

"We had a fabulous time on the Safari! It was so nice to have a smaller group of people so you could get to know each other. We also enjoyed working the rest stops and look forward do volunteering again next year if you will have us. We met some very nice people and look forward to seeing them again next year. Thank you to all the people who helped put this ride together!!!!
Look forward to seeing you again next year if not before then."
